At the Roman Theatre of Orange

Trade your bed and your phone screen for the life-size screen that is none other than the Roman Theatre of Orange, where Edeis puts on a video mapping show (nearly) all year round.
 
As night falls, the Roman Theatre invites visitors, wearing high-definition headphones, to take a journey through sound and images conceived with artificial intelligence, to discover a mythology which has inspired different eras of theatre.
With the combined ticket, you can also enjoy a visit to the Roman Theatre during the day.

Surfing at Wave Island

Wave Island water park in Provence comprises 33 water rides and activities for the whole family. As well as rafting down slides and giant tubes, alone or in pairs, you can take on Da Wave, the biggest artificial wave in the world, which can be modified to suit all abilities. 10-minute initiations are available to riders who want to try out the wave and 30 minute sessions can be booked in advance to try flowboarding or bodyboarding with the park’s licensed instructors.

In a 2-hectare natural woodland setting in the south of the Luberon, there are 8 treetop adventure courses to have fun and challenge yourself with. They are accessible to everyone, with courses up to 15 metres high for the most daring. For more thrilling adventures, the park also organises nighttime events.

Every Monday evening, Villeneuve-lès-Avignon becomes a hotspot for gourmets. With a food court full of food trucks and music, a great evening with the family is guaranteed, with no quarrels! From burgers to wine bars, Creole to Italian cuisine, the food trucks change regularly, so that every member of the family can have what they fancy!

Canoeing on the Rhône River

We can’t stress enough the value of changing your perspective! From the Rhône, Avignon can be explored in a completely different way, canoeing or paddle boarding along the river, or even on a giant 7-person paddle board! You can choose simply to hire a canoe to go around the Pont d’Avignon, or instead, journey from the north of l’Ile de la Barthelasse to explore its natural riches and historic riverbanks. Adventure seekers enjoy the nighttime trip with headlamps to discover life on the banks of the Rhône at night and admire the illuminated city.

Take part in a soap-making workshop

Aroma-Plantes lavender distillery in Sault invites you to step into the shoes of a soap maker.
Here, you can make your own soap, using simple and natural ingredients and essential oils (most of which are produced on site), as well as the colours of your choice. This is your chance to bring home a unique soap made with your own hands!
